Absolutely beautiful place to stay, the room was fabulous and toasty warm. The whole place is spotlessly clean and the staff are incredibly helpful. Sadly we only had a quick overnight stay here but we wish we had longer. This place was amazing. Super clean and close to lots of restaurants. You can see this place has a lot of history and we had fun making up stories about the building. Breakfast was great and the heated floors in the bathroom really were the cherry on top. This place is a gem and will definitely stay here again the next time I return to Hobart! Lovely grounds and views from room, friendly helpful staff and free breakfast with the option I chose. Close enough to the city centre that it allows you a good walk in which was lovely to take in the vibe of the place. You'll need a car from Newtown though to get around to see everything that the city has to offer but there is plenty of parking available at the hotel to facilitate that.

A fantastic place to stay, with excellent service and a delicious breakfast included. It was quiet, and very clean. We haven’t stayed anywhere quite like that before and it felt like being in a story book. Definitely need a car to get into Hobart CBD, but it was our base for 5 nights as we explored the region, so we had one. It was fabulous and I highly recommend it.
