This is a little old strip of cottages in what’s probably literally the best location in the area. The people are very nice and helpful and the energy is great here. Everything you could need is in walking distance. Multiple restaurants, Walgreens, Publix, even a mechanic. The dock is quiet with tons of aquatic hobby stuff and my dog was welcome here. It’s more like staying at someone’s guest house. Be aware that this is not like a resort it’s much more of a place to stay for people that are very active on the water and in and out because they’re doing things locally. Would gladly come back. Oh and the landscaping is kind of impressive. Some very nice trees and plants if you have an eye for that.

Love this place! Very friendly and secluded. Not your typical resort-look elsewhere if that’s what you want. But if you want a friendly private sailing camp where you hang out with other fun people and like to sail and kayak, this is absolutely it! The use of the sailboat alone more than pays for the room.

Hotel is a hidden gem. Location and amenities are great. People working there couldn’t be more nice and attentive. Very very clean room, bathroom was outdated but that is the bast majority of hotels in the keys unless you want to pay a outrageous rate. I will definitely come back

My daughter and I stayed here for a weekend. Had a fabulous time! Everyone was very nice and helpful. We went out in a canoe and used the snorkeling equipment.

Key Lime Sailing club is very laid back and friendly. If you are looking for fancy it’s not for you. The staff is what makes it great! It’s older but clean and secluded. It was a great find!

This vaca spot is great. The owner Paul, and Bradley were so nice and accomidating on litterally everyrhing. Chill and relaxing place and I will definately come here again! Great prices and they do a monthly winner for a free vacation!! Thanks so much !!

The environment was awesome and laid back. They had everything on hand to use at our fingertips. Canoes, kayaks, snorkel gear, fishing stuff, and plenty of seating to watch the sun set. Upon arrival the guy was telling us the rules and said ots like grandpas house, you get it out, you put it up. I didn't recall his name, so we just called him grandpa. Thw property manager witnessed me trying to catch lizards and he tolde id never get one.. i took it as a challenge and caught one. Managed to tell him too. I really wish i had a pen to write in the journal the keep there for their guests to write in to leave our memorable experiences for the next guests to read. I hope to some day visit again. It was a blast!

Perfect if you are looking for a hidden sanctuary in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Key Largo. The owners and staff are exceptional! We enjoyed KLSC so much that we booked our next stay with them before we even left :)

Absolutely fantastic stay. Very suttle down to earth cottages, if you're looking for a 5 star resort with all the amenities this is definitely not the place. However, if you are looking for a fun relaxing get away close to everything in Key Largo. I highly reccomend. The staff was excellent and so friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The kids had a blast. Will definitely be going again.

Not what we expected

For starters, the real name of this property is Key Lime Sailing Club, and it is, yes, primarily a spot for sailing hobbyists. This was not mentioned in the Hotels.com listing. And some things that were listed on Hotels.com as part of the property simply did not exist, such as the private beach, private beach cabanas, and free wi-fi (we were told to "walk down the driveway" for service). That makes a pretty big difference in the kind of experience one has here. There were also some smaller issues such as a ceiling fan that would not turn off (and which the property owner made clear would not be fixed while we were there) and no towel racks or accessible surfaces in the bathroom. All of that said, it's still a great location (which comes at a significant price) and a generally nice cottage.

Great stay!

We had an amazing stay at the Key Largo Cottages at Key Lime Sailing Club! We loved our cottage (one bedroom had a cute queen sized loft my 8 year old daughter spent lots of time relaxing in!). It was spotlessly clean and the kitchen had all the cookware and more you could need. The free use of the water toys made it easy to enjoy every minute outside without having the hassle of "checking out and checking in" in hourly increments like some resorts. We were also able to use one of their 22' sailboats based on my husband's experience sailing--a very uncommon but terrific amenity. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, despite a very late check in and very early check out.

Units were clean, quiet and very conveniently located. Be careful if you bring a dog, there are rules that pop up after you book, not all units are dog friendly and they will charge you per pet per night. Read all the fine print. Good if you are into sailing or kayaking, not much else to do on site.

This property is amazing. The people were so friendly. I loved all the amenities that were included. We snorkeled and kayaked. I saw some amazing fish while snorkeling. Can’t wait to come back. 😊
