I had a pleasant stay at Oyster Bay. The rooms are very spacious, clean and offer a comfortable time-share style experience, with nice views overlooking the pond. The resort overall is well maintained, and housekeeping stood out for being consider y polite and friendly. The pool area is a highlight—calm, relaxing and a great place to unwind. The drinks were very good, and a special mention to Gregory at the bar, who was kind, helpful, and added to the overall experience. While the bar food was decent, some options felt a bit basic. The location is quiet and well suited for relaxation. During my stay, there was quite a bit of seaweed and wind, which made swimming from the beach difficult. However, this is not the fault of the resort, as they are clearly making an effort to clean the beach daily using large machines. Another positive aspect was the overall crowd—this is not a party-type resort, but rather attracts guests looking to relax, which adds to the peaceful atmosphere. If there is one area for improvement, it would be the front desk, which could feel a bit more welcoming at times. Additionally, while the stay was enjoyable, some may feel it does not fully align with the price point, depending on their priorities.

A delight of a hotel.

My first visit to Fantastic Hotel, and I was delighted by several things: the warm welcome, the lovely room, the swimming pool and the near-by market to purchase food things. Delighted too that it is a short walk to Marigot Market and to the bus terminal for movement around the island. Because of age, I may not return to this hotel or even to the Island, but if I did, Fantastic is a lovey place to stay.

Good for a cheap one night stop over. Quite run down, pillows were tiny. Pool was a bonus and instant coffee available in reception. Couldn’t quite see the purpose of a coffee machine in the room with no coffee or filters. If your looking for a cheap stop over would recommend and Super U is ten minute walk away.

The bathroom leaked so bad we had to put down towels. Staff came to take a look and try to fix and cleaned it up very well. Unfortunately, it continued to leak at the point we just put down towels. We didn’t call them due to us already having a later check in time and being exhausted. Staff was really nice!
