The place was clean and modern. If you walk the path around the apartments you have amazing water view with outdoor swimming and seating. You can walk along a pedestrian bridge to get to the opera house or Munch museum. There are numerous restaurants a very short walk, 5 - 10 min away through the complex We ate at Castelo, excellent. We stayed at Wright Apts after a cruise. Really spacious inside, good location just outside the town. Made it quiet to sleep. It is a very easy (and fun & safe) walk into town that only takes about 15 minutes. Or a 5 minute Uber. Restaurants are very close, right on the pier in front of the apartments. There is also a small grocery store next to the apts. and a cute bar in the evenings. We arrived early and got some great advice to check our suitcases at the Oslo train station. We did that and took the red bus until we could check in. Hedda and Kevin both greeted us and brought us to our apartment and were super helpful with questions about the apt and surroundings. Highly recommended!!

Getting the key from the unmanned lockbox was not a problem, but the building itself, located about 200 meters away, was difficult to find, and it also took time to locate the room inside the building. On top of that, the entrance door had a type of doorknob I had never seen before, so I struggled to open it. I had to contact the staff several times through WhatsApp to ask for directions and instructions, which became very frustrating. From the moment I picked up the key until I was finally able to enter the room, it took about one hour. Even after entering the room, the TV asked for a PIN code. I again had to contact the staff through WhatsApp to obtain the code. After entering it, the YouTube screen appeared briefly and then disappeared immediately. I could not tell whether the problem was caused by the wiring or the settings, but the issue continued throughout my stay, so I eventually gave up trying to watch TV. I understand that I should not expect exactly the same level of service as a regular hotel, but this apartment hotel did not provide slippers or daily cleaning service either. I have stayed at apartment hotels twice before in other countries, and in both cases there were staff members at the reception desk. Because of that, I was able to reach my room without difficulty, and daily cleaning service was also provided. Next time I stay at an apartment hotel, I would prefer to choose one with a staffed reception desk. But as for location, it was convenient.

This is a very beautiful location and the apartment was modern and very clean. Everything was well appointed. Great area and it’s right on the harbour. My only issue was with the parking…. There are few choices and expensive. There is a maximum of 510 kr for a 24 hour period however.. do not come and go. This triggers the hourly rate for that 24 hour period. We left only once during our 2 day stay and our cost was 1530 kr. Or $148 USD. For us, this was an unexpected expense. Otherwise the staff was great and the location was perfect.

Great Location with Comfort & Convenience

The place was great. It was very clean, spacious and well furnished. The view was great. There were several restaurants and a convenience store within the Sorengkaia complex (within easy walking distance). The opera house and Sentrum station were also accessible by foot with a nice brisk walk along the water. I would definitely recommend Wright Apartments.
