Not as advertised
Good news? Jason genuinely tries to make your stay pleasant and breakfast was good. But...
This hotel is NOT near the beach or trailhead as stated when we booked on Hotels.com (hopefully this will be corrected), in fact it will cost you 10,000cr ($16+ USD) round trip for a taxi if you don't have your own vehicle - if you do, it needs to be a 4X4 as the road is steep, rough, unpaved, and has a river crossing. When I pointed out we'd been mislead by the info, and had made our reservation based on the idea of being near the beach/pool/town there was zero attempt address the situation.
The pool? It's down a long very steep path/broken steps and there's no furniture to sit on once you get there - no bathroom - so don't assume you will be relaxing with the kids poolside and hitting the bar for a frosty beverage - you are nowhere near the restaurant/bar area. See pics.
We stayed in a standard family room - not a chair in sight, inside or out much less a private balcony or patio. The room had beds and a TV, no place for luggage or to hang clothes, bags remained on the floor with the roaches (well, it is the tropics) - no wifi in the room, this may be getting fixed - internet access at the restaurant was hit and miss.
We did not receive any house keeping or toiletries as stated, (except those little wrapped bars of hand soap).
No room service as stated - there's no way to contact anyone via phone or otherwise. No picnic area, bbq, business center...
