We had an extremely disappointing and even frightening experience at TM Suites in Dortmund. We arrived later in the evening, only to find a completely unmanned “hotel.” There was no reception, no staff on site, and the person we were told to contact in case of problems never answered the phone – despite multiple attempts to reach them.
The two rooms we had booked looked nothing like the photos online. In fact, it felt unsafe from the moment we arrived. Both room doors looked like they had been broken into – visibly damaged and poorly repaired, if at all. The floors were in terrible condition, dirty and heavily worn. The bathroom door couldn’t even be locked, and the door handles throughout the rooms were loose or broken.
There was zero sense of security, and we did not feel safe staying there for the night. The entire property gave off a neglected and untrustworthy vibe. It’s shocking that this place is even allowed to operate as a hotel.
I strongly advise anyone considering staying here to look elsewhere. This was by far the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had – misleading pictures, no staff, no safety, and absolutely no accountability.
