Use this motel for a quick shower and a 44 minute nap during the Texas independence relay race and wouldn’t stay here for any other reason.

Reception staff of one can only by reached by phone. Wi-fi connections I was given did not work. Main TV channels not available. I was the only room occupied. This place is one step away from going out of business. Expedia should remove it from listings.

I’ve stayed here several times and will again when in the area. Family that owns hotel is great. They take care of all needs I had. No frills property. Basic but met every need.

The manager was very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean, yet very basic. No hangers in the closet area. We have stayed here before because it is so close to our destination. Would recommend.

I had a 7day stay booked. On arrival note on reception door, back in 15mins or call a PN. Tried the number 3 times, voicemail, i finally left a message that I was leaving and finding alternative motel. I was on the road out, she responded, she was at motel, so returned and checked in. She gave me Wi-Fi numbers which did not work, and she was never seen again leaving same message on door. TV channels did not have the 4 main networks, no World Cup etc. And I was the only occupied room on site--no other people seen. Spent 2 nights only, did what I was there for, booked another stay elsewhere and cut my frustration short and left after 2 nights, forfeiting what I had paid for 7--it was not worth the hassle of dealing with the manager, or whatever she was. Expedia should remove this site from their listings as it is one step from going out of business, which would be a good thing.

Floor was filthy. No fitted sheet on the bed. Had at least 6 stray cats outside my door.

Websters definition of no frills

Old building family run. extremely no frills. Family is friendly and do their best with what little they have. Area is devoid of any restaurants and there is no shopping other than gas station convenience stores. Only extra is wifi which is up and down at best and slow as a snail when up.

The owner was very nice and helpful. It was a quiet area no issues with noise. The place did seem to be under some construction. The shower head is placed low, so I had to crouth to wash my hair. I also had to mess with the knobs to get the water to work.

Don’t stay there!!

There was a bullet hole in the bathroom window and the window pane was falling out. The room was filthy. Bugs in the bed. (Fleas I think) Stuff all over the walls. Floors were filthy. The front desk person was rude too.

Do not stay here, did not honor reservation I placed 2 weeks prior to stay. Arrived at Midnight to be turned away regardless of reservation and confirmation email. EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful
