Restaurant closed. No information about this online. No smart tv as last time we were here. No information about this either. In a small, quite town like Haparanda, you need this to get through the evening. Nothing else to do. Otherwise, lovely staff, beautiful building!

Such an amazing feel to be back in history!! The decoration and vibe there was great to me being a visitor of a small town. And the staff are amazing too and dedicated to their job. Every single receptionist was suave and eager to help out. I checked in late and the guy was still around to help me go in, and they were also accommodating to me being around and use the facility even after checking out. The place is clean, spacious and nice sauna. It was snowy and did not have a chance to really explore town but it looked beautiful nonetheless. Open buffet for breakfast but really good. I can’t say anything bad about the place.

Rum helt ok, dåliga kuddar. Affärer finns i närhet. Vi bytte rum, eftersom det luktade avlopp. Vårt nya rum var trevligare, men även där var det samma lukt. Dock lite mindre. Personalen var serviceminded. Vi åt plankstek i restaurangen. Oxfilen hade man stekt o skurit på ett konstigt sätt. Något vi aldrig sett tidigare. Vi fick byta ut maten, blev lite bättre, men för hårt stekt på en sida. Frukosten var bra, saknade inget.

Vanha hotelli huone kompakti, kylpyhuone kulahtanut kaipaisi päivitystä. Hauskat vanhat rekvisiitat käytävillä. Hotellin saunasta naisten puolelta puuttui pyyhkeen ripustus paikka suihkutilata. Pukuhuoneessa voisi olla jääkaappi. Ikivanha kuivain seinässä kii, ei toiminut. Hyvä palvelu, aamiainen oli hyvä.
