Our girl's trip brought us to this adorable Inn for 3 nights. This is obviously an older building, but it has so much charm! There was comfortable wicker furniture with cushions outside our door so we could enjoy the patio in the evening. The hotel also has a market that you can walk to that serves an AMAZING lobster mac & cheese! They also do fresh, steamed lobster dinners on demand for much cheaper than you will pay in Bar Harbor.
The free continental breakfast included fresh baked muffins and a wide variety of flavored coffee creamers.
This is a very rural area, but this inn is a quick 15 minute drive to Bar Harbor, or a 5 minute drive to Seal Harbor.
My only complaint was that the room was a little stuffy at night (even with fans) because it was lacking A/C. But, I do know that the temperature was way hotter than normal during our visit. I am sure this is a very comfortable room in normal weather.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay!
