We stayed at Simbad Hotel for 6 nights. The room was clean, and the staff cleaned it every day, which I appreciated. The view from the hotel is fantastic—you can see the Mediterranean—and the location is great for walking, with a road along the sea. The vibe is perfect. However, there were some negatives. On the day we stayed in a city-view room, there was a construction project in front of the hotel. Workers were active from 7 AM to 7 PM, which made it impossible to relax or sleep—definitely a disaster. Breakfast was not bad, but we had the same options for all 6 days. It would be better if they offered at least 3 different options each day.

Really lovely hotel, right on the water. Couldn’t fault the location a beautiful seafront! Staff for the most part wonderful. On arrival we were given a Pom at the back of the hotel looking out onto a building site. We asked to change room and were given a lovely seafront room. Last day we had a late flight and asked for a late checkout but were told it would be 20 euros per hour - more than the nightly rate. It seemed a shame we couldn’t keep our room as the hotel was at low occupancy and would have made our last day much easier. We were given the spa to use to shower but this space in my opinion was not a nice space - a bit dirty, dank and smelly with lights not working! Cleaning staff were lovely and the staff in general were friendly and helpful. The overall feel of the hotel is bright and spacious!

Simbad is well located - though the beach in front of hte hotel doesn't have the cleanest water. The pool loungers and pool area is very basic. There are some nice and relaxed restaurants a short, beautiful, walk away.

I loved how close but yet not so close the hotel was to the city center and being waterfront was definitely a plus! I do believe with a bit of more upkeep they can do so much more better. They gave me a bit of an upgrade at check-in which was nice. I got a higher floor with a sea view. Parking can be very tough around there since you're stuck with street parking and there isn't a lot of it. The pool was ok but it could've been much better if they had service by the pool or a bar. The food at the restaurant was awesome! Very fresh and good.

We loved our stay at Simbad Hotel in Talamanca. The view of Ibiza’s Old Town from the hotel is absolutely stunning. It’s in a great location—right on a scenic boardwalk with easy access to charming restaurants (the Italian spot next door was our favorite). Getting around the island was a breeze, with quick access to Pacha, Old Town, and Ushuaïa. A perfect base for exploring Ibiza.
