The proximity to the train was what sold us on this hotel. Just steps away, I worried it would be loud and/or not feel quite safe but I was wrong. Not a worry at all.
The staff was wonderful to us, stored our luggage and prepared our room a little early, knowing that we had flown in from the states on an overnight flight. They didn't have to do that but they did with a smile and it was very much appreciated.
The only reason I didn't give the hotel a perfect score is because they were renovating, so the entire hotel was covered in a white sheet and the scaffolding (and therefore the workers) were right outside our window, so we had to keep the drapes closed for out entire stay. We didn't spend much time in the room, so it wasn't a big deal. Also, we understood that it was a temporary situation that couldn't be avoided to keep the property looking great on the outside. The inside was impeccable and when you're laying your head down to sleep after a long day of exploring, that's what mattered the most.
We would absolutely stay here again!
