Simple and budget friendly accommodation in Kiruna

It was very good for a huge hostel. It is older, but very clean and my room was large.My building was very quiet and there was a small kitchen at the end of my building, which was very handy. I had chosen a one person room with a private bathroom. The daily breakfast was very good, lots of food choices! Great stay in Kiruna!

Basic but ok!

This is basic accomodation, nothing fancy at all. But if you are looking for clean quiet basic sta for a night or two, this is a good deal! Very basic small rooms, ok breakfast, access to (basic) sauna, free parking. Cheap, with value for money!

Perfect for solo travelers

Hostel’s building is just great. Small rooms but have everything. Clean kitchens, showers with a sauna. Very quiet and perfect for northern lights due to location on the north side of town. Great breakfast, even got a togo bag for early departure (ask the day before). Restaurant is also serving lunch and dinner and has amazing thai food among the western dishes. Brought in fresh towels on 3rd day of my stay without me asking to (included in long stay). I always try to stay there on my visits to Kiruna, have never been disappointed.

Generally ok, but bathroom far too small.

Generally ok. The triple room is spacious, but really tiny for the bathroom. Not good for shower. The room is on separate building and need to go around the back for the entrance.

Excellent hospitality and value for money

A little slow check-in. I had to wait for 10 minutes. Everything else was 1st class. The restaurant offered a fantastic Swedish/Thai buffet “lunch” until 17.00, very reasonably priced, and a great breakfast buffet which was included in my stay. Unfortunately I could not get the EV-charger at the hotel to work, despite calling the customer service etc but that is not the hotel’s fault.

Auberge tres bien entretenue, calme et cosy. Malheureusement gros point negarif : les plaqies de cuisson et le four ne fonctionnaient pas. Nous avons ete plusieurs voyageurs a essaye de les faire fonctionner pendanr 1h.... donc la cuisone n’etait pas opérationnelle.

Dålig standard för ett högt pris

Enda positiva jag har att säga om det här stället är killen i receptionen som var väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam. Men allt annat, dåligt skyltat till vandrarhemmet, sunkigt rum, persiennen var för kort och gick inte ända ner för fönstret. På toan fylldes hela golvet med vatten när man duschade och det blev halt. Bakom toaletten låg en fälla för silverfiskar. Jag tycker inte att det är rimligt att man ska betala 950kr för den standarden.

Enkelt men rent och bra boende med all service. Dock missade vi informationen om att frukosten serverades senare på midsommarafton och det var ingen tydlig information om det förrän senare då vi och några andra boende redan ordnat frukost på egen hand. Synd för vi betalade för den… Här önskar vi att de redan dagen innan påminner eller informerar om liknande ändringar.

Inte trevligt minne av Kiruna

Rummet var städat. Men gav ett sunkigt intryck. Listerna i taket var ett lappverk, det saknades en bit av korkmattan. Men värst var toaletten toasitsen var lös och det var något efter väggarna i duschen som liknade mögel. En gardin täckte fönstret som hade en trasig persienn. Det fanns inte en galge. Läget gjorde det svårt att besöka om man har funktionsnedsättning.

Rummet var mycket slitet. Trasig duschmunstycke, eluttaget satt löst på väggen så kunde knappt ladda min mobil. Rummet var välstädat, personalen trevlig. Tyst och lugnt på natten. God frukost.

Ej prisvärt hotell.

Väldigt slitet hotell. Golven knakar och golvmattan i badrummet var lös (fuktskada?). Dåligt städat rum. Kuddar som borde bytas ut till nya och så även sängarna, där hela ramen sviktade när man satt på kanten. Den enda vattenkokaren vi hittade i gemenskapsutrymmet tordes vi inte använda då den var helt brun innuti. Blankis utanför hotellet och inte ett sandkorn i sikte gjorde ju inte vistelsen trevligare.

Es ist eine einfache Unterkunft. Wer keine hohen Ansprüche hat und auf ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis wert legt, wird zufrieden sein. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und gut. Ich würde jederzeit wieder diese Unterkunft buchen.

Great deal, friendly helpful staff

Linn and Maria at the front desk were amazing! Linn helped us meet up with our tour late when our flight was delayed. The whole staff went above and beyond to help us.
