O booked this place through Expedia (there was availability, otherwise, I couldn't have booked) and paid for it in advance.
When I got to the place I was told there were no rooms available, even though I had a confirmation in my e-mail.
The lady (polite but unhelpful) stated that if I didn't get an e-mail directly from the hotel confirming my booking, then it was never confirmed.
I guess they are not aware how Expedia sales works. Specially once I paid for my stay!
They never even bothered to send me an e-mail prior to my arrival to tell me about the availability problem so I could find some other place to stay.
I only found out there were no rooms once I arrived to check-in and had to go wandering to find another place.
