The hotel itself was good, clean, safe and overall a nice place to stay. However, our check-in experience was frustrating.
We booked a room with three single beds for two adults and one child (my 15-year-old daughter). At reception, the staff member insisted that in their system a 15-year-old is considered an adult and argued that our booking was for two adults and one child. I explained that Hotels.com clearly shows 15 as a child, and regardless, we had booked three beds, so the point was irrelevant. She was dismissive, rude, and lacking in basic courtesy.
On top of that, she tried to charge us $30 for early check-in, claiming the standard check-in time was 12pm, while my booking confirmation clearly stated 10am.
Fortunately, another staff member overheard the situation, stepped in, and handled everything kindly and professionally. Thanks to them, we were able to check in smoothly around 9am.
Overall: The hotel is good and comfortable, but the first receptionist left a bad impression. I hope the management ensures more consistent training in professionalism and customer service, as one staff member saved what could have been a very unpleasant start
