I would never stay at this hotel as I do not want to risk my booking cancelled on the day I check in.
I made my booking around three weeks in advance and the day before my booking I received an email from the hotel to say welcome and they look forward to have us.
The next day when we arrived, the hotel told us they didn't have any room available because they had "lost" our booking. They gave us the option to stay at a different hotel which was not the location we wanted, or they cancel our booking and we have to find another place to stay.
We were very tired from a long bus trip and intead of going out for dinner after checking in our room, we had to run around trying to find accommodation at the very last minute, which was neither easy or pleasant.
I do not believe the hotel "lost" our booking, because if they did, then why send the welcome email? I have heard that hotels deliberately "lose" your booking and move you to a different location if they can get a higher price for the room you booked. I don't know if this was the case here, but I would not want the experience of running around trying to get last minute accommodation around dinner time again.
