Our stay at the hotel was okay overall, but there were several disappointing aspects.
Breakfast was a highlight, with a good selection of options to choose from. The spa treatments were also enjoyable, but the spa area itself was a letdown. It was extremely cold, the floors were wet and dirty, and used towels were left on sunbeds without being cleared. The sauna and steam room were very small, and the steam room’s benches were so cold they were uncomfortable to sit on.
The most frustrating part of our stay was the treatment by hotel security and reception staff. We felt harassed at the entrance, constantly being followed by security. Additionally, the reception staff were gossiping, assuming we wouldn’t understand them—completely unacceptable behavior.
When we raised these concerns with the manager, we received an apology and a bottle of Prosecco as a goodwill gesture. However, this was later taken away by the cleaning staff, despite being more than half full.
In the end, our experience wasn’t terrible because we spent most of our time outside the hotel, but these issues definitely left a negative impression.
