This place is amazing! Carolyn is a great host. The breakfast every morning was so good. We got the dinner the first night we stayed which was the best meal we had on our Memorial Day weekend trip. It’s the best food you’re gonna get in the area! Worth it. I would stay again if I was ever to come upstate. Under an hour from Niagara Falls and 15 minutes from Six flags! There was no refrigerator in the room but that was the only downfall.

10/10 We were greeted by Cuddles the pup and the owner who was such a sweet lady! Set back in the woods via dirt road had me a little cautious at first but what a beautiful lodge/setting and top notch service! We had the wine dinner which was 4 courses brought right to our room! Same with breakfast in the morning! The food was delicious, our room was so clean, I really can’t say enough about this place!! We went for a concert at Darien Lake quick 10 minute drive. We will be back for sure!!

We overall enjoyed our stay. The room was well appointed and offered more luxury than you typically receive at this price point. The breakfast that was brought to our room was amazing! The Lodge/Bed and Breakfast is pristine (inside and out). We were hoping to have something to eat at the hotel the evening we arrived but found out at check in you needed 24 hours notice ...but online it shares a menu?. We were just told about wine and beer available. Maybe we did not understand ...but either way its not clear online There is no refrigerator or microwave in the room ..so having some basic food options would be nice as its in a very isolated area and quite a drive to anything. We were told with 24 hours notice we could have a five course meal. We would have loved to have had that. I would call next time and make sure of what is available. If your looking for a peaceful place and you don't need amenities its wonderful!

Exceptional accommodations

The River Spring Lodge is a wonderful, quiet,out of the way hotel to stay at. It's spic and span clean with the owners on site. Dave does the cooking being a culinary institute chef and everything is perfect and very tasty. They offer breakfast choices and many dinner choices which are served to you in your room.We didn't have dinner but I understand from other guests it's a 5 course meal and was supurb. We did have breakfast--baked eggs (omelets), a tasty and slightly sweet roll, strawberry preserves, fruit "soup" they call it which was made with fresh strawberries, breakfast bread slices bagged to take on the road with you, zOJ and potatoes in a little crock which reminded me of au gratin taters. Everything arrives piping hot on a tray to our door. Carolyn did the delivering of our mask which was preceded by a steaming thermos of fresh coffee for my honey and English decaf breakfast tea for me which came about 730 in order to "start our day". Our room had a breakfast nook-others have a balcony. The bed is large with step stools provided for ease of accessing the bed. The bathroom is gorgeous with a full rolled shower and a rain shower head. The best thing was the heated tile floors of the bathroom!!! I can find nothing derogatory to say about this Lodge. It's exquisite and perfect in every way. Thank you Dave and Carolyn. We'll be back!!

Lovely stay! Staff was nice, room was cozy and comfortable, complimentary breakfast was outstanding. The surrounding area outside was nice, lots of trees and the pond was so pretty! I didn't want to leave! I hope to stay here again! :)

Wonderful experiences! Best shower I’ve ever had!! Super soft water awesome for skin. I also enjoyed very much the bath tub. Carolyn is super sweet, she met us 2am during the night for checking in, and wonderful experiences overall - with the room, the food, the service! Exceptional!

Amazing experience!

Our short stay was amazing. The service was beyond perfect and we couldn’t of asked for more. The building and room were very clean and enjoyable to stay in. To boot we did the dinner which was an add on option and we’re beyond thrilled that we did. The food was impeccably delicious. It was served promptly to our room in 4 separate courses. Everything was hot, seasoned, and cooked perfectly! The stay itself was amazing and then to be served such a perfect dinner made our stay even better. We will definitely be visiting again and hope others do as well.

This is a beautiful facility. The innkeepers are wonderful, welcoming people. We had dinner on Friday night-everything was top notch. Breakfast for both mornings, again, fantastic! We stayed here to celebrate our anniversary weekend. It is out of the way from all the hustle and bustle, just what is needed to decompress. It is about 40 minutes from the south entrance of Letchworth State Park. Our room was beautiful, well kept. Anything we needed the innkeepers were available for us. Very sweet and kind people.
