Great big room in a beautiful old building, high ceilings, location is excellent. The man running the place is very helpful and nice. Breakfast is absolutely enough, there’s yoghurt, several cereal, eggs, fried sausages (delicious), a toaster and several breads and hams and cheese. If anything could be improved, it might be with mention that the wall by the end of the bed was a bit soiled, a couple of spiders and webs in the bathroom/lamp, but really not a problem. The beds are a bit on the firm side but that’s common outside of sweden I think, maybe we’re softies here. We would absolutely stay here again, loved the calm location especially.

Make no mistake about it, the location along with the Dientzenhofer baroque-era history this hotel has makes it unique opportunity. But what really sets it apart is the flexible and helpful staff who go out of their way to help with any situation that comes up. About the only downside I can think of is that that the parking lot entrance keypad is super flaky and unreliable and takes many attempts to work. Aside from that, I would absolutely stay here again and again.

The pension is very well situated for visiting Prague. It is very close to the Charles Bridge and to many trams, as well as some very good restaurants. It is an older building but our room was well kept. We appreciated the good breakfast buffet.

Charming Traditional Guesthouse

We had a very comfortable stay. Thus is a traditional guesthouse with a good breakfast. The rooms are large and comfortable and the location is superb, just a few hundred yards from The Charles Bridge and virtually next to Kampa Park, yet it's quiet and peaceful. We were able to get a late check in and the staff were very friendly.

Althiugh room was large the bathroom had a boiler attached to the wall which turned on noisily every 2 minutes or so and made sleeping difficult. Bed linen were old and had holes. WIFI not available as room assigned #8 was blocked to Wifi. Chairs almost fell apart door handle fell off and needed to be fixed.

The location of this place was everything. We drove over from Germany so needed a place to park a car, this was easy to do. However I will say its not advertised well how much parking costs each day. I think it ended up being $45US a day, which is doable but we thought it was included for some reason. Didn't read that fine print. Again, minor complaint. The property was well cared for, rooms were clean and simple. Breakfast was simple and good, everything you'd need for a stop in Prague. The area is very quiet and next to a nice little park which was great as we had a toddler with us. So glad we stayed on this side of the bridge. Joseph was a great host and I would recommend anyone stay at this cozy place.

The place was cute, but we only stayed 1 of our 4 nights we booked. The radiator in our room (located right next to the head of the bed) was making the most obnoxious clicking noise all night long. We tried everything to make it stop but it just wouldn’t. We only got about 2 hours of sleep. Because of this, we checked out the next morning and moved to a hotel. I wouldn’t recommend staying in Room 3 specifically, but honestly you could save your money and find a much nicer place for way cheaper.
