We had a fantastic 3-night stay at the B&B with one of the most hospitable hosts we have encountered during our journeys. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

We enjoyed our stay at the Fishermen's Daughter B&B. As soon as we walked in the house, we were greeted with the smell of fresh baked bread! The owner, Cathy, is very friendly and eager to please her guests. The home made breakfasts were delicious! The historic home was built in 1845, and has been well maintained. The property is located minutes from town and faces the bay. There is a new 1 km boardwalk which follows the bay into town which we enjoyed as well!

Cathy is a fantastic host. The bnb is beautiful and whimsical. My room was beautiful and the bed comfy. I’d highly recommend a stay here for a few days or longer! Will stay again.

We loved our stay here. The home was beautiful and clean. Our room was super cute (the Emma room). And Cathy was absolutely amazing! We learned a lot about the area and the history of her home. And she is a top notch cook. The breakfasts were very tasty. She puts a lot of thought into them and making them perfect for each individual. On this road trip we stayed at 8 different locations and this was our number 1 top pick - our favourite by far!

The Fisherman’s Daughter is centrally located in Mahone Bay. You can walk everywhere within this quaint town. Cathy is very knowledgeable of the area and makes great suggestions to make sure that you have a good time. Our bedroom, Gulls’Nest, had a beautiful view of the bay. It was very spacious and comfortable. The washroom had an old fashioned free standing tub which made showering an interesting experience. The breakfasts were both delicious and plentiful.
