This was our first time visiting the Outer Banks and we chose to stay at Sea Scape. At first we were unsure as the property is older and although well-maintained, not as flashy as some other places on the island. However, we quickly fell in love with the place - so much so that we're already planning to return next summer.
The property we got was a 2 bedroom that could sleep 6 (7 if someone wanted to take the extra large sofa). There was a full kitchen, stocked with all the utensils, drink and dinnerware you'd need to feed a large group. The bathrooms were big and the entire place was spotless.
The location was also very convenient. It's down a little ways into Kitty Hawk and close to things like Walmart and Harris Teeter, but still far enough away to the main strip to feel a little less crowded.
Check-in was easy and there were lots of amenities. My husband and I really enjoyed playing pool and shuffleboard in the game room. We were also able to get a few rounds of mini golf in that is located on site.
Overall this was a fantastic experience and we highly recommend this place for a one-of-a-kind trip to OBX.
