Not the best way to start a trip. Our reservation was for 4days paying an extra night due to the fact that we were arriving at 2am so wanted the convenience of having the room ready upon arrival. We arrived at 2am to check-in into a property that was definitely not what was advertised online/Expedia. First off, the entry way alone was sketchy, that our driver (local) asked if we felt safe staying there as the place looked uncomfortable from outside. Being that we were tired from a 15hr flight, we chose to just check-in. When we got to our room, this was nothing like what was advertised or what we chose online. The cement was cracking at the door, that the employee closed the door the cement fell (huge chunk). The bathroom was small, no bar soap available, had to ask for towels, hand soap wasn’t replenished (looked about 3 months old). It was a horrendous experience but being that we got there so late, 2am we just wanted to shower and go to bed. We checked-in at 2am and left by 10am the same morning. Breakfast food was okay. We spoke with Kiki expressing our concerns and what was showed online. I asked if it was possible to just get a refund of the next two days being that we planned to check-out same day due to not feeling safe or comfortable. She said no as its against their policy. We booked this property through Expedia and tried getting a refund as we literally were on the property for 6hrs not the original 4days as planned. This was denied!
