We spent 3 days in Barcelona the Hotel California. It was a little hard to locate at first but we found it was so convenient to the Ramblas, the Boqueria, even the metro. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Hotel staff were very helpful and personable. We are going back again this year and bringing friends and family.

Overall this hotel was great! Close to all the shops, restaurants, La Rambla, walking distance to La Boqueria (must see), the pier for day and sunset cruises, lots of happenings close by! Only a few minutes walk to La Rambla, Hotel California finds itself situated amongst some of Barcelonas' most popular sights. A cosy air conditioned room is a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of a busy tourist area, dotted with a wide variety of places to eat and shop. A nice comfortable bed, and a decent bathroom provides sanctuary for the weary traveller, on return from taking in the wonders of the city. Wonderful friendly staff, efficient check in and out, makes for a pleasant stay. I look forward to returning for a longer visit.
