Hotel Cheval is a wonderful hotel that is beautiful, intimate and relaxing. Each room has access to the courtyard that has two large fireplaces, cozy sitting areas, a classic library space with a candy bar. The free breakfast is fabulous. The hotel is right in town so close to the center square and all the restaurants. The Pony Bar, which is part of the hotel has a great atmosphere and music at night. The hotel is pricey but but well worth it.

This is the most lovely little property with amazing staff! Everything was perfect -- our room, the common areas with fireplaces and a library, the breakfast. The staff was plentiful and very attentive; we particularly loved the constant firebuilder guys and the "S'mores Concierge"! The location is perfect, as well. Fairly quiet except for the early morning trash trucks and occasional train horns. Loved the idea of daily/ nightly fires but they were pretty smokey. The room was lovely and the gas fireplace was a treat. The staff is exceptional. Convenient walk to the entire downtown area.
