Lovely colonial boutique in Cabo Frío!

I loved the low key colonial vibe, just next to a quite part of the shore, close to small fishing boats. Amazing drinks, great pool and a very nice breakfast. Also loads of great restaurants and beaches close by. Would definitely recommend!

The hotel is a small beautiful boutique hotel that is beautifully decorated with a great location overlooking the Itajuru canal. We were fortunate to get an upgrade to a lovely suite. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was nice and the restaurant food was amazing so we ate there all 3 days of our stay. There are many restaurants close by. The beach is about a 10 minute walk.

We loved our stay at Hotel Solar do Arco and Cabo Frio as a wider area. We really enjoyed the facilities - lounging by the pool and reading in the main terrace was a particular highlight for me. You simply cannot find a more attractive little boutique hotel (pousada) than Solar do Arco. Super stylish, quaint, Portuguese-inspired architecture. Wonderful staff, very good breakfast and parking just next door. Dining options abound. The room was well appointed and the A/C was quiet and appeared to be brand new. I'm going back!
