The worst experience at this hotel. To begin with, the rooms are extremely small, although we understand this can be common in Korea. However, the real problem started when we were about to sleep. We turned off the TV and immediately noticed a loud noise coming from the water pipes. At first, we thought it would stop, but it didn’t. The noise from the sanitary and water pipes lasted all night.
We reported this issue as soon as we heard it after turning off the TV, around 1:00 AM. Maintenance came, confirmed the noise, and acknowledged the problem. Their “solution” was to offer us a room change at around 1:30–2:00 AM, but with five suitcases and an early checkout the next morning, this was not practical. Our stay was only for one night.
We had to sleep with music on, hoping that the next day—like in any normal hotel, considering the seriousness of the issue—we would receive some form of compensation. Instead, all we received was a refusal and terrible customer service from Senior Manager Boyvchon Choi. Instead of an understanding and friendly attitude, we were met with a blunt rejection.
We are extremely upset and disappointed with our first hotel experience here. Thankfully, we are moving to another hotel today.
