Past its prime
Well, I think at some point in the past this place was probably all right, but it’s a bit past its prime now. Four of us stayed four nights total – – two nights in one room and then two nights in a different room when we returned to Ann Arbor after going up north. We had problems with Wi-Fi three of the four nights. The last two nights we weren’t able to watch television because of the Wi-Fi/television lack of connection. Our two sons watched sports events on their phone or laptop. It put a damper on things because we all wanted to watch the hockey games on the big screen together. For the last night, since it was quite hot, we turned on the air conditioner, which didn’t work. We opened one of the windows – – the only one with a screen— and slept with no covers on. Although the main, important areas were clean (bathroom and beds), the overall place needs a thorough cleaning and tidying up.
Positive things about the place: delicious continental breakfast; nice treats given to us or that we could take whenever we wanted (cokes in the fridge, candy, little bags of different chips, nature Valley bars, etc.); comfortable beds; amiable Inn owner.
