Beds was little hard....need shower curtain liners...couldnt get TV to get passed a question screen and ever time walked down hall to desk no one was there or signs saying back in 15 min. Hot tub didnt work not that we really needed it. But property was nice & when you did see staff they was nice. Breakfast was not good tho. Would stay again.

Check in was easy when we got to the room. It was a musky smell as if the carpet was cleaned and the AC wasn't turned on to air it out. The pool was very nice and the breakfast was good.

I was booked at another hotel in town but it was more of a motel with outdoor facing rooms. I was thankful to find Hotel Texas with interior hallways. It may not be part of a well known chain but it was just as good as many of those type of hotels. Clean and comfortable. All of the expected amenities in the room. It was over 100 degrees the day of my stay and the air conditioner in my room was able to keep up. I didn’t eat breakfast but I looked and it was as expected - sausage patties, biscuits, and waffles. It looked tasty. The coffee was excellent! I only wish they had half and half at the coffee station. That is my only critique of an otherwise excellent stay.

We had a wonderful stay for several days and are impressed with the cleanliness of all areas. Very good breakfasts, enjoyable conversations with the host. Good ole Texas friendliness!! The only suggestion we have is that the bathroom light is pretty dim. Loved our stay!

Very nice hotel stay in Hallettsville, TX. The outside of hotel has several patio areas with western rustic swinging benches perfect for relaxing watching the sun go down drinking a cold beverage. The rear patio area has a couple of BBQ pits to grill your favorite food. There are several restaurants walking distance from hotel.

The property is quaint. It has that country feel with porch swings which gave me a place to enjoy some Texas spring weather. Also, the staff was very helpful and responsive.

Was a descent hotel, stayed 2 nights with my kiddo and it was okay. Room had a window unit type of a/c where all of the controls were and it was very humid in the room, difficult to get comfortable temperature. Room was pretty clean. Comforter and towels appeared to be old, could definitely be replaced with new linens and towels. Overall, was safe and quiet and staff was very friendly.

The breakfast had terrible coffee, the light was out in our bathroom over the mirror, and the soap dispenser in the shower was empty too. The beds are clean and sleep fine.
