The pensionat

This "hotel" is more like a B&B. The room we got was a real small one. The service minded and kind staff saved our stay as we where offered a normal sized room.

Lovely hotel on an island

Nautic Hotell was a special place on the island of Marstrand. My husband and I did a last minute long weekend trip and ended it our three days at the Nautic Hotel. We had a room with a beautiful view, with patio, of the ocean. The rooms were clean. Breakfast in the morning was very good. We will come back to this hotel if we go back to visit Marstrand.

We thought it was a high price for the size of room, but it is Sweden, and a popular beach vacation island area, so it was probably reasonable. The hotel is quaint, mice views of the harbor/sea area, good breakfast buffet, and comfortable beds. It was odd that you have to check in at a completely different hotel, and they didn’t give hotel information to every room in our party of several different related families. It was often hard to find the person who worked the front desk - she clearly has very many duties around the hotel, which mildly impacted our stay as we were unable to go for a planned swim on the last day because we and the breakfast staff were unable to get in touch with her to get a robe to walk down to the sea that the hotel provided, and we were concerned about being too cold on the way back to the hotel after getting in the chilly sea, and also not comfortable walking through town in just our bathing suits. The other odd thing was that the servicing of the room came very late in the day, and was barely noticeable. They folded up a used towel that was hanging up, but still damp, and water stamped the toilet paper. As far as we could tell, that was all that was done. We didn’t really need more, so we didn’t say anything, we just thought it was odd.

Mkt bra läge med närhet till vattnet, restauranger & annat. Ok men halvtrist frukost, hade önskat något större utbud. Incheckning skedde exakt på klockslaget 15:00 och inte ens 13 minuter innan då vi anlände… och då hade vi ändå sedan några minuters promenad till vårt hotell från Grand där vi checkade in.

Hotellet ligger smukt og Marstrand er vidunderlig. Men det er et sminket middelmådigt hotel. Intet personale på hotellet - man skal 1 kilometer hen til andet hotel for at få hjælp. Vinduer der ikke kan åbne, plastik ovenpå gamle fliser, ingen ventilation, bitte små senge, tarvelige dyner. Og have der kunne være smuk men som ikke er velholdt. Middelmådig morgenmad med tarveligt brød og maskinkaffe. På ingen måde prisen værd

Hotellin sijainti oli hyvä eli sai nukkua rauhassa. Monipuolinen buffet aamiainen. Siisti ja sympaattinen huoneemme oli ylimmässä kerroksessa upealla merinäköalalla. Kylpyhuone oli hieman kulunut ja pieni, mutta hotelli ja huone kokonaisuutena olivat niin kivat, että mentäisiin kyllä uudelleen, jos liikutaan millä seuduilla.

Mysigt och gammalt hotell men med sliten standard, fantastisk utsikt från enkelt litet rum, dörren till rummet lossnade nästan pga trasigt gångjärn, bodde endast en natt så det skulle åtgärdas. Dyrt boende om du ser till standard men helt ok för Marstrand

Det var nog tionde gången vi bodde här. Alltid lika välskött och alltid med ett vänligt bemötande. Riklig frukost med det mesta man behöver för att orka med promenader runt den lilla ön. Inte så stort mer som ett pensionat med många trevliga små rum. Kanske inte så barnvänligt. Återkommer gärna igen för det fina läget med utsikt mot det norra hamninloppet med solnedgång över havet. //Sten
