We had a great stay at Swept Away. We were very happy to find that we could do our own laundry on site as we were 10 days into our vacation upon staying there. The pool and games room were enjoyed by the kids. Thanks for having us!!!

The property is well maintained. We stayed on the last weekend it was open for Thanksgiving weekend. The cottage was nice, but a bit dated. We had booked for 4 people and only had enough plates in the cottage for 3. Through the busy summer months it is probably properly stocked though. It wasn't as clean as I had hoped, some dead flies in the windows and quite a few in the living area. Overall a decent place to stay, very close to the Cavendish Boardwalk, walking distance, but that closes completely the last week of August along with the town of Cavendish. You have to travel to find groceries, places to eat or drink and even for a convenience store.

Cottage had several black flies inside. They should have had fly traps inside as there were about 5-6 flies swatted. Also the dishwasher had not been emptied out prior to our arrival.

Wasn’t impressed with the cabin. The walkway to the entrance was covered in newly cut grass and tracked into the space. Not the quality I was expecting but then again, first cabin rental and will definitely rethink next time

A great choice for a vacation in PEI

Fantastic location, just a short drive from Cavendish Beach. The services are top-notch, with fresh towels provided daily—a rarity these days. The staff are incredibly friendly and promptly attend to our needs.

It a very peaceful campground. Our children loved all the things they offered for play, pool, hot tub, park and trampoline. The cottage was very cozy, clean and comfortable. I will be back again!

We loved this property because it's was private and very peaceful but yet it was close to everything we wanted to do. The owners were very pleasant and helpful, and let us check in a little earlier, as our cottage was ready, that's was awesome after a long drive. Pool and huge trampoline were a big hit with my daughter and her friend. My husband and I enjoyed sitting on covered deck, rain or shine! Would definitely stay again! Very accommodating stay!! The housekeeping should have been better. Wrappers behind endtable, MANY dried food particles & nuts under chair & couch cushions. The jets for the jacuzzi bathtub were BLACK! Coffee filter was still left coffee machine with old grinds. Crumbs in kitchen drawers & cupboards.

Stayed here for 3 nights in September. We had a two bedroom cottage. It was nice as it was very private. Looked out into a grove of trees and a corn field. . The cottage itself is in need a an update. Furnishings are functional but old. . It is a blast from the past for sure. The cottage was very clean. No issues there.

Our cottage was not at all like the one in the picture. It was basically a very small square space with no ocean view. The unit should have a heat pump installed as the air conditioning unit is not adequate to cool the area.

Swept Away with nonsense.

Property manager made us move between two units of a two day stay, she said it was Expedia’s fault. We booked months ago for two nights, appreciate the call at 10:10AM to move out to the other unit. Management said it would be better to contact them directly to avoid being shuffled around. Expedia or Swept Away conundrum, not impressed. Lot’s of lovely children running around, they had an awesome time, pool too. Romantic getaway, don’t go here.

I’m unsure how this property has received such high ratings. The cottages are extremely run down. Our child’s bed continued to fall off the makeshift frame - to the point she had to sleep in her sibling’s bed. There were no regular staples such as coffee, olive oil, dishwasher pods, and limited/old toiletries. The ac unit was likely from 1980 and very dirty. The sheets and blankets had seen there day and were stained in spots. The Expedia says check in is 3 and check out is 10:30, but it is actually 4 and 10am. Which impacted our planning. Fortunately they let us check in early- but called at 10:15am on the day we were leaving to let us know check out was actually 10am. For the price and the minimum 3 night stay - would never choose this place again.
