There is always one isnt there. Someone who just doesnt have the same repor with customers as the rest of staff. Perhaps its just a brisk manner but when I have a guest at an appropriate hour & they are a bit of a loud talker, I dont appreciate a cleaner knocking very loudly & calling out 'Housekeeping' but by the time I get up & make my way with difficulty to the door, they are most of the way down the hall & werent knocking for room service but just to bark at me to keep it down. There is a reason there are reception staff trained in customer service & every other staff member has displayed polite & tactful skills in informing me of house rules when needed without offending me or unnecessarily making me get up & hobble to the door just to make their point, before flouncing out the door. Like I said, everything else has been great but unfortunately this small but upsetting display of bad attitude has really upset me & I really hope I dont have to engage with this person again before I leave.
