Solid 3 star hotel. 300 meters from the train station. It is quiet. The staff are professional and very welcoming. Breakfast was good. Would happily stay here again

Well situated in the city. Street parking was not a problem. Thw mattress was quite hard and uncomfortable. The breakfast was ok.

Nice hotel in Ville Nouvelle close to the train station. They couldn't find my Expedia booking initially which was problematic but eventually found it after about ten minutes. But overall I was very pleased with the hotel and the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful.

Un hotel correcto por este precio. Conveniente ubicación si se desea estar cerca de la estación de tren, en una calle tranquila pero bien comunicada y con servicios. El personal es amable y habla idiomas. La habitación es cómoda y espaciosa. Lo que no me gustó es el desayuno (fruta y yogur son de pago) y que no tiene wifi en las habitaciones

A wonderful gem 3 minutes from the train station. Ok breakfast, great staff. Clean, quiet, comfortable room. I would suggest amenities to include water, tea and coffee. Otherwise I would happily stay there again

I used the hotel to freshen up and store my luggage while I took a covid test at the lab down the street. I didn't stay overnight. The train station is also just down the street. The location was very convenient and the staff found someone to walk me down to the train with my luggage.

en général, la chambre est spacieuse et propre, le problème de wifi ne fonctionne pas dans les chambres, le matin parfois il n y a pas de l'eau chaud dans la salle de bain. il faut noté aussi que le petit déjeuner est payant malgré que sur ma facture est mentionné que c'est gratuit

Bra säng men slitet och utan charm

Rummen är slitna, mycket slitna. Det gäller allt utom sängen som är mycket bra. Det är trots allt det viktigaste. Reception och allmänna utrymmen är mörka, slitna, kala och otrivsamma. Den marockanska frukosten är utmärkt. Servicen är vänlig, hjälpsam och korrekt. Felaktigheter korrigeras och personalen pratar bra engelska, förutom franska och arabiska. Rummet tillgängligt omedelbart trots att jag anlände väldigt tidigt.

Je suis un client pas du tout difficile , mais là ça était ma pire expérience dans un hôtel . Des le premier jour on m’a dit que je n’avais pas le droit au petit déjeuner alors que ebookers m’avait confirmé par mail le contraire , ensuite j’ai passé 3 nuits sur 5 sans chauffage le soir dans la chambre ni d’eau chaude le matin pour se doucher , tout les jours je faisais une réclamation à la réception mais rien ne changé . Je suis vraiment déçu de cette hôtel car malgré tout ces problèmes que je vous ai cité, l’hôtel en lui même est délabré ( douche rouillé, peinture craquelé sur les radiateurs et sur les murs ) indigne d’un 3 hôtel . D’ailleurs je me demande comment il peut encore avoir ces 3 étoiles . Vraiment a déconseiller à tout niveau .

The pits

The hotel is very shabby. Looks like the management haven't done any redecorating, general maintenance or, indeed, any deep cleaning since it was built in 1988. For example, the silicon around the bath area was peeling away and there was lots of black mould everywhere. The bath appeared not to have been cleaned before my arrival- and much more. All this I could cope with given the price of the hotel, but what made my stay unbearable was the noise from the disco in the basement of the hotel, which began at 11.30pm and carried on until 3.00am. I requested another room , which they did give me. This room was less noisy but not perfect. The staff were generally surly and gave help begrudgingly. I moved to another hotel ( Hotel Akouas) which is literally opposite the Bab Mansour and for only a little more cost it was far superior. I do not recommend Hotel Bab Mansour but I do highly recommend Hotel Akouas. It's such a shame that from the advertising they don't appear to be vastly different but they are ! The internet can be a great leveler - unfortunately.

Good for a night or two on the road

To be honest, the hotel was a little better than I expected, considering it's a 3 star property in a not very important city in Morocco, and also offering a bargain price, but it was nothing too special either. One of the big disappointments was the fact that contrary to the description, there was no breakfast included in the price. The second mismatch was that there were no non-smoking rooms. And how I hate signs of smoking, even marks from forgotten burning cigarettes. Luckily they gave me 5-6 rooms to choose from, and one was looking quite better in that aspect. Apart from these little problems the rooms are spacious, the location is very good - at the edge of the downtown area and about 1.5 km from the Medina (it's even walkable). Cleanliness was OK for a 3-star in Africa, room comfort - as well.
