Could do better in Kassel

Chosen for its location, most things were of a good standard although the lack of aircon was uncomfortable and an oversight on my part when booking. They were happy to lend me a small fan, which made things better. Food in the restaurant was of great quality, if a little pricey! Bed was comfortable, couch was good to lie on and internet service was very good. Staff were friendly. Now for the bad - the room did not have sufficient curtains to cloak the windows, which was very puzzling. No hospitality tray for tea/coffee, no mini bar and just 2 small bottles of water (warm due to the room temperature). I enjoyed my morning shower until I stepped out and started paddling in the bathroom. Upon closer examination, there was no ‘lip’ to keep the water in the shower area and I needed to mop up using towels. Not impressed with this! Would I stay again? Doubtful I’m afraid!

5.th time on this hotel. Chipsene a Big room on 62 sqm for the comfort. Unfortunately the room was very cold 16 degrees and we had to use our winter coats inside all day - everything in the room was cold. On the second day we reach 18 degrees and 20 at the 3. day. We missed a couch or two good chairs with a table. The service is very good - but we got an unpleasant stay because of the cold - and a bad smell from the drains in the bathroom we tried to cover with wet towels. We contacted the reception the first event and got more heat. We asked for help to the smell but didn’t get it. The nice lady at the reception told us that she has been writing to us through Expedia- which we haven’t seen yet.

Rigtig fin - og stille - beliggenhed for rejse sydpå. Venligt personale. Stort plus der var lukket parkeringskælder. Værelset var pænt og rent. badeværelset havde de samme "designer fejl" som så mange andre hotel badeværelser..... stort set ingen opbevaringsplads v. vasken, som var latterlig lille og alligevel fyldte så meget at man ikke kunne komme til make-up spejlet, der hang for lavt og skævt. Maden i restauranten var 0 stjerner, dyr og uden smag, tænker det var mikroovns opvarmet, kyllingen var så sej at den knirkede, da jeg skar i den. Morgenbuffet stor og standard - alt var der. Dog mærkeligt at man har så mange solo rejsende og alligevel kun dækker op til en person på ET bord i hele restauranten, alle andre borde var dækket op til 4 eller flere. Det føles akavet at skulle finde en plads.
