Overall the hotel was clean, in good shape and had a good breakfast. One issue is keeping me from giving it the highest rating though.
When we checked in, the front desk clerk mentioned that I had put in my reservation note that we would be bringing our dogs and needed a pet friendly room. She said they had to move us because the room I booked was not a pet room. She said in the future I should call directly because the pet room would have been more expensive but since I booked through Expedia they couldn't charge me more. I'm not sure how this is supposed to motivate me to call instead, but whatever. None of the rooms are listed as pet-friendly or not, in their listing, or I would have chosen a pet-friendly one. I was charged the rate I booked plus the pet fee, as I expected and as was listed in the app. While the clerk was friendly, the experience left me feeling that I had done something wrong, when there was no way to know I should have done anything differently, and they probably need to revise their listing instead.
