No hot water for showers
Room and bathroom were quiet, clean and well presented, although bathroom did have a mild damp smell. Bed was very comfortable and we had a great night sleep despite a wedding being held in the hotel that night.
However in the morning neither of us were able to have a hot shower, despite running the shower on and off over an hour (between 7 - 8am). When we spoke to staff on check-out we were essentially told that the further away from the hot water system your room is then you get less hot water when the system is in demand.
Very frustrating that this is a known issue and they still insist on putting people in those rooms. Even more frustrating that there was very little apology from the staff about the issue who had a “well that’s just the way it is” attitude about our experience. As someone who frequently stays in Best Western hotels this wasn’t the level of service I have previously experienced from the brand and I will not be staying here again.
