I am extremely disappointed with this hotel.
Our reservation clearly stated that the room was booked for 3 adults and 2 children (aged 9 and 12). However, upon arrival, the hotel only provided two queen beds and did not set up the sofa bed for us. As a result, it is impossible for five people to sleep comfortably in the room.
We requested that the hotel set up the sofa bed, but were told that although the room is advertised as accommodating up to six guests, but only two beds are provided. If we wanted to use the sofa bed, we would have to pay an additional charge.
This is highly unfair and misleading. We booked the room based on the information provided and expected suitable sleeping arrangements for all five guests included in the reservation. Instead, we were asked to pay extra for a bed that was necessary to accommodate the number of guests already specified in our booking.
We feel deceived by this arrangement and are very dissatisfied with our experience.
I never imagined that I would encounter such a situation in Singapore, a country renowned for its world-class tourism industry and high standards of hospitality.
This experience has been extremely disappointing. If necessary, I will not hesitate to escalate this matter and submit a formal complaint to the relevant Singapore tourism authorities, as I believe this treatment is misleading and unacceptable.
