Checking in was a cluster and the staff was overwhelmed. We asked for ice which was directly behind the check encounter and were told we would have to wait and they would bring it to our room. The ice never arrived. When we asked the cleaning staff for fresh towels we were told we had to request them through the front desk even though I could see a storage room that was stocked with towels. I ended up just getting them myself. We had no place to put our garbage so we put it in the hall and it stayed there all weekend . The refrigerator in our room smelled of old food from previous guests.The hallway and common areas of our building were covered with leaves that were tracked in by shoes. It was not vacuumed the entire weekend. The wine glass provided in a room was broken and post a cutting hazard. We stayed in the fire and ice room which lacked any drawers or closets to unpack. The room is very small.The counter space is limited and there are no side tables or clock in the room. My overall impression of the staff is that they lack hotel and customer service experience. They are young and seem overwhelmed. I would not stay here again. It is overpriced.
