Great little road stop.
This was a great stop for the night. I was traveling with my 2 dogs and just needed a good place to rest. Traveling with dogs can be challenging but my dogs were very relaxed here and slept quietly through the night. There is a large field next to the hotel and it was great for letting the dogs wander and sniff. It was very cold the night we stayed and the room and building were toasty warm and very clean! The staff was super friendly and accomodating. Very nice people!

This was our second stay at Scipio hotel. The man at the desk was very helpful and nice. Room was comfortable and accommodations for our dog were great! Breakfast was pretty basic but a large variety, coffee was excellent! There are no real dining options nearby but that’s ok, we bring our food. We look forward to another stay when we drive cross country again!

Very comfortable bed, convenient location
The room was spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable. The only issue was the lighting, several lamp bulbs were broken or missing, and one bedside lamp switch was broken and had to be plugged and unplugged into the outlet to work. I mentioned it to reception at checkout, and I hope it was fixed.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and am always happy with my stay. The staff is super friendly and helpful. My only complaint is small and may only be me. The bars of soap are so tiny. Like the size of a quarter.
