We really enjoyed our stay overall. The hotel is very small (around 14 units), which makes it feel quiet, intimate, and never crowded. The lobby area is phenomenal — a beautiful wood-burning fireplace, great music, and a cozy atmosphere that’s perfect for lounging, reading, or just relaxing. The freshly baked cookies set out for guests were such a nice, thoughtful touch. The cafe served a great espresso.
We also appreciated the amenity bar upstairs, which had a microwave, extra plates and cutlery, a water cooler, and additional coffee — super convenient and well thought out.
The steam room was a great amenity and we enjoyed using it, but it didn’t get very hot. It would be amazing if it heated properly. That said, the thoughtful touches like the body scrub and the shower area just outside the steam room were really appreciated.
The only downside was the lack of soundproofing between rooms. We were woken up around 4 a.m. by a screaming toddler in a nearby room, which lasted about 45 minutes. Because of this, I’d strongly recommend bringing earplugs.
Despite those few issues, the common spaces and overall vibe were lovely, and with better sound insulation and a hotter steam room, this place would be perfect.
