This hotel was great for those wanting an "old town" experience. The location is perfect and the room was a good size. Staff was very helpful with giving recommendations and directions around Altstadt Nuremburg. The only down side was how small the bathroom was, and how small the available parking is. Both of those things are easy to overlook.

The staff was very kind and helpful. The hotel was also very clean. The hotel was clean and staff was great so I bumped it to 4 stars, but the beds are hard and the rooms are awkwardly shaped and some aspects tiny. Each room is set up differently but the shower in our room was tiny and it was impossible not to flood the bathroom. And very slippery floor.

Loved staying so close to everything in the old town. We enjoyed the beauty of the area. While we actually stayed in an apartment across from Hotel Elch, it was still good. Next time hope to be in the hotel itself. In any case we hope to return to Nuremburg not just during Christmas market season but in the warmer months.

We stayed at four different hotels as we traveled through Bavaria, but Hotel Elch Boutique was our favorite! The staff were incredibly friendly, the location was amazing, and the Bavarian charm was everything we were seeking during our trip. We were even greeted with a personalized welcome sign and some gummi candies when we walked into our room :) We would (will!) absolutely stay there again.

Cannot say enough about how friendly staff was. We were running late to check-in and the gentleman at the desk reassured us that Expedia had the check in times in correct (not 9pm but 11pm). Upon arrival he showed us to our apartment which was absolutely lovely. Fully equipped kitchen, great minibar (fair price), cozy bed, and a great view. You’re near all the sights and several restaurants are at your doorstep. Lovely little spot!

Lovely front desk people! Very helpful! Our room for 3 people was roomy, comfortable and clean. Near the Christmas markets and everything else in the old town. The parking is somewhat inconvenient which is to be expected in this part of the city. The Christmas market on opening weekend was ridiculously crowded. I would go later on if I do it again
