This hotel is ran down from the outside, but the rooms are remodeled and are really nice. Comfy beds- loved all the pillows, nice bathrooms- love the double sinks, and overall very clean on the inside! Check in was easy- the older gentleman that checked me in was really pleasant to chat with. Overall, I would definitely stay here again. When everything on the outside gets up to date, this hotel will be very nice!

The guy at check-in was very nice, and check-in went smoothly. Like others have mentioned, the outside is a bit sketchy-looking, but the room itself had been renovated. Bathroom had been completely redone, and was especially nice. The room was clean and comfortable. Would stay again if passing through.

Wonderful little motel. Looks a little scruffy on the outside but... Rooms must have been recently remodeled because they are wonderful! Our room was very spacious, beds was comfortable with high quality bedding, shower water was hot with great pressure, fridge and microwave worked great, there was big table to put stuff on and a closet, and all of it impeccably clean and felt new. Front desk staff was efficient, friendly, and genuine. Would absolutely stay here again.

Don't let the outside appearance of the Alamo Inn & Suites sway you to not stay here. I was in Gillette a few weeks prior for a week for a conference had I known how budget friendly this inn was I would've stayed here. The room wasn't fancy, just basic. But, if all rooms have been redone and updated, you will be pleasantly surprised, my assigned room was quiet, spacious, and the bed was super comfortable. If you're looking for an outdoor pool, as stated on the websites it is not operable. Having the outdoor pool availability would've been nice because I had had a few hours before going to an appointment. Would've been nice to grab some rays and a soak. Overall, again, I would say do not judge the book by the cover.

The hotel was being remodeled, and the interior of the rooms were very nice. (shower was a little small, but not too bad), once they finish the exterior remodel (windows are already repaired and taped off, ready for painting.) I think it will be a really nice budget stay.

Stayed one night on June 28, 2026. As others have said, the property looks rough but the rooms are recently renovated, clean, and nice. Comfy bed and strong water pressure in the shower. Plenty of towels, soaps, coffee, etc. For the price, I’d definitely stay again. Highly recommended.

I was in a renovated room. It was great. The outside property, as others have said, is a little scary. Lol. The kitchenette with stove have your own pots, pans, utensils. The fridge doesn't have a little freezer part in mini fridge. The room and bathroom were clean and nicely renovated. It was relatively quiet. The breakfast wasn't that great. Biscuits fell apart, and made a mess in toaster (sorry) and gravy ehh, eggs instant, sausage ok. All in all, was a great stay, just will cook my own breakfast next time

The property appeared run-down even though some attempts had been made to repaint walls and trim. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. On the plus side, there was fresh yogurt from a dispenser. But there was no fresh fruit, the juice dispensers didn't work, and the food provided was mostly highly processed. I tried to find a staff member to help with the juice dispensers, but there was no one either at the desk or in the entire front area during the time we were at breakfast. Our bed was comfortable, but, in general, the room was shabby. The parking area had potholes, and parking for our room was actually off a street behind the hotel. I don't recommend this hotel in its present condition.
