Our reservations were book in April for a Oct. stay through Hotels.com and confirmed with reservation confirmation through Hotels.com with Delta Inn. in Helena-West Helena, Arkansas for $64.00 per night (3 day stay). When we arrived, Delta Inn said they did not have reservations for us and the charge would be $572.00 for the 3 night stay. They said they were booked already and had no reservation for us under the reservation # given us. They did find us a room, BUT it was horrible. Pillows on the bed were square decor pillows (not bed pillows). No overhead lighting and no light in the standing floor lamp. The electrical outlets had no cover on them. No bed confortner or blankets. The plumbing was not up to standards. It was rusted metal. The television did not give us any channels and requested we pay $8.99 for a years subscrition. The outside of the microwave and the mini refrigerator both looked like they had been in a house fire, burnt. They may have worked, but we decided not to use or drink any water coming from the rusted pipes. A contential breakfast was not provided as was advertised. I am 75 years old and it was ABSOUTELY, the worst experience of any hotel I have ever been forced to stay. Pitiful does not even began to explain our experience with Delta Inn. We were not the only people who had reservations confirmed through Hotels.com, but no reservations them either. Hope this review saves others from being ripped off by Delta Inn.
