We stayed at this hotel for one night on 13th July but arrived very late and left very early so did not have an experience of any description so re booked for our return journey.
The room was grubby, and smelt of stale cigarettes, (as did the whole of the establishment). After leaving the hotel we commented that our clothes all smelt musty.
We paid for breakfast but on arrival at breakfast area found a stewed undrinkable pot of coffee, one broken burnt piece of toast and the end of French bread stick approximately 40 mm long, therefore we had paid for three breakfasts that were non existent and left the hotel hungry.
The toilet in the room was badly stained and the bathroom smelt like it had just been used, this smell persisted throughout our stay. Although we appreciate it is a "budget" hotel there is a difference between budget and "dirty".
We booked a Triple room "(3) persons" but found only one towel? when my wife asked the very unhelpful man on the reception / working in the kitchen / running around after the fire alarm that consistently went off etc. etc. he said we were only entitled to "two towels" and would only supply one more. IF IT IS A TRIPLE ROOM WE EXPECT A TOWEL FOR EACH PERSON NOT ONLY TWO!!!
We stop in many hotels on our travels but have never experienced one as poor as this, we would not use an IBIS hotel again and would certainly not recommend any of our family or friends do either
