This property appears to be in transition. I saw no signage identifying it as a Park Inn by Radisson, nor did I experience the level of service, amenities, or standards typically associated with the Radisson brand. In fact, the only visible signage was a blacked-out Motel 6 sign near the front of the property.
While Motel 6 is a budget chain, in my experience, their standards for cleanliness and basic operations have consistently exceeded what I encountered here.
That said, Santa Rosa is a pleasant city, and the property’s location is convenient—just off the freeway and close to restaurants, shops, and other services. The nightly rate was the most affordable I found when booking, and free parking is included, which is a plus.
However, my room, located toward the back of the property, had several issues. It was noisy, noticeably unclean, and smelled of smoke. Surfaces and furnishings—including countertops and cushions—showed significant wear, with visible chips and tears. The parking lot also raised concerns: at least one person appeared to be living out of a car, and I saw them biking around the lot multiple times. Local police made routine passes through the property while I was there.
In summary, while the convenient location and price are attractive, the overall experience fell short of expectations—even for budget accommodations. I hope the property is undergoing improvements, but as it stands, I could not recommend!
