My husband & I stayed for 4 nights. We had a wonderful experience . The water view rooms were incredible day or night. The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a hot breakfast in the mornings and social hour in the evenings. If we needed anything they were always there to help. Sightseeing, tours and restaurants close by. The Edgewater Inn is all you need. The rooms are very clean, staff is welcoming and friendly, breakfast was amazing and social hour an unexpected extra!! The location is perfect. The short walk across the bridge and you’re in the middle of downtown. The view from the back porch was worth the entire trip. Relaxing on the deck after sightseeing all day was our favorite part. I really enjoyed the Edgewater Inn. I liked the location next to the river and across from the city. I liked being able to sit on my patio next to the river, have a cup of coffee and watch the world go by. The breakfast was quite good and the hostess kindly packaged mine up so I could eat it later in the morning. The dining space was pleasant and had a good view. IT is a simple, comfortable lodging place in a very convenient location for both going into the city and also enjoying Anastasia Island. I recommend it as a home base for exploring the area.
