Happy & satisfied with all especially People & Staff, food, and closure of attractions, well done. The Only advice is to make inn / hotel name attractive - it took time for us to find it

The owners are friendly, helpful and kind. They also rescue dogs. There were three lovely doggos when I was staying there. I would gladly stay there again. Plus the restaurant just up the front makes good food!

Four nights at cactus inn

We had a very pleasant stay at the cactus inn. Very kind personnel. Breakfast was served at cactus restaurant and lunch and dinner were possible to buy there, very good food. 5 minutes walk to the beach. Scooter rental possible in neighbouring shop.

Great choice for a budget stay!

I enjoyed my stay in room 6 at the Cactus Inn. PROS: 1. Great location close/walkable to the beach; 2. Quiet & peaceful property setting with pleasant courtyard feel; 3. Nice and helpful staff -- feels like you are staying with family; 4. SImple, clean, basic room at a good price; 5. Secure/bolted room safe to store valuables; 6. On-site restaurant with plenty of food options; 6. Short walk to the beach, laundry, mini-mart, and restaurants; 7. Ability to use their wash machine, if needed; 8. Family-owned business with owner and staff living on-site, so it's always easy to get in touch with someone, if needed. 9. All items in the room work as intended without issue. CONS: 1. Entry door needs weatherstripping; 2. Bathroom need a silicone water divider on the floor to prevent shower water from making its way around the entire bathroom floor; 3. Wifi network is open/unsecured; 4. On-site restaurant is cash only and doesn't accept credit cards. I would definitely stay here again if looking for a budget accomodation in Langkawi.

The best place! The owners went above and beyond to help us when we realized we didn't have enough cash and the nearest ATM was a very long confusing 45 minute walk away. They called us a grab to the ATM, gave the driver instructions to wait for us and bring us back to the inn, and even called us a grab the following morning for our morning flight - letting us know that grab was WAY less expensive than calling a taxi, which would have been easier for them. They are such sweet people, and their restaurant is amazing too! We would recommend them to anyone. Great to meet them, if we came back to Langkawi, would definitely stay with them again - no hesitation!

I stayed there first and second day of my trip in Langkawi. The owner and his wife and her sister were very nice and friendly and I had such wonderful time from the beginning of my trip. They also gave me lots of information to travel well. Room is also nice and clean. Their restaurant is also fantastic.

Free n easy at cactus inn

We are staying in family unit. Two rooms two bathroom. Safe, fridge, aircond, water heater are provided. 10min walk to tengah beach. With small kids 15min walk. Estimated About 1km..love the cactus cafe next door. Convenient when u have kids and not keen to go out late at night for meals n snack or raining season. Pancake for breakfast is nice. Satay for dinner is good too. Not sure about daily room clean up. They didn't do it although i stay 2 nights. My only con is limited to TV channels. Boss is gracious to allow me to check out 1-hour late. With car, u can go to crowded cenang beach in 5minutes. Parking is available at the inn.

Would come back, no hesitations!

Good location. Walkable to beach, duty free shopping, good eateries. Cactus Restaurant has extensive breakfast & dinner menus as well as friendly staff who serve good food - but lousy coffee. Get your caffeine fix elsewhere. Great margaritas! Would have rated it excellent if not for a particularly sullen Inn employee.

The Cactus Inn has a popular restaurant and is close to the nicest section of beach in the area. It is also at the nicest end of the resort with access to other good restaurants.

Great place to stay

Great place to stay, near the beach and quite a few restaurants. The best is the Cactus Restaurant out the front. Fabulous garden of cacti, and assorted similar plants; gives the place a good feel. Only drawback was the mosquitoes of an evening, but a bit of preparation and request a few coils from the front desk & you're all sorted. Staff & management friendly & helpful.
