Property in need of TLC, but staff 💯

The property overall is lovely. However, it is desperately in need of some TLC and maintenance. There were plugs in my room that did not work. The staff are who made the stay worthwhile. Nameisha and Shyaine at Customer Service, Tina at the pool bar and the many servers at The Palm that made the experience fantastic and bearable.

The hotel was super clean, and I even got a free upgrade for booking through Expedia. The room was nice and the mini fridge was restocked daily. I loved the rotating food themes and the unlimited drinks were a bonus. Staff were friendly, polite, and made great conversation. There was entertainment every night, which kept things fun. I’d definitely stay here again!

We just got back and thoroughly enjoyed the week we were there. The beach is beyond awesome, the staff is super friendly, the food was very good and the rooms were very nice. The check in was a bit slow and towels seemed to be hit or miss whether they took your old towels that were on the ground but didn't replace them, but when asked they got them to us, these were our only negatives. If you are looking for a fancy nothing out of place resort this isn't the place for you. There are some ascetic flaws on the outside of the buildings but the people, food and beach are what we were there for and all of that greatly exceeded what we were expecting reading all the negative reviews.

I loved the location, not too far from the airport but far enough to not feel like I’m in a touristy part of town. The resort workers were very nice. The food was good. The furniture and setup are a bit dated but for the price, it was very reasonable. The beaches are beautiful and though we didn’t participate, there are many water activities. The property was clean and I extremely loved the beach area and facilities and the mini bar team was on the ball. However, housekeeping service needs improvement. We were there celebrating our anniversary and waited 2 whole days to get towels. Most staff were more interested in selling us stuff than catering to pur needs for what we had already paid for.

Everything was great except the food. It had no taste, seasoning or any of the Jamaican flavors. I had all inclusive but took a taxi to eat off of the resort.

This resort is in need of a refresh - rooms and facilities were very tired. The only saving grace was the stretch of beach. The staff was also warm and welcoming. The food options were limited - no variety, mostly buffet and only one a la carte restaurant open at dinner. How was there no beach jerk grill/hut in Jamaica. The buffet had a little Jamaican food, no local fruits - just basic. They also ran out of everything - beach towels, straws, spoons and items on the menu. Expected more.

The property needs lots of repair. The property is right off the public road, you can hear everything happening off of the resort. There were only 2-3 restaurants open during our stay. The edge of our swim up pool was broken and when we called for service nothing was done. The television in our room had the worse reception, the voice and picture did not match.

The thing I loved was the proximity to the ocean, less than 20yards from the buildings!!! The WOREST is the FOOD EXPERIENCE! HORRIBLE!!! With them saying they have 10 restaurants on the property, there is only two opened at any given time which makes it hard to get into the two that's opened and have very limited options! I believe this is due to under staffing!!!

Horrible experience here. This is not a true reflection of Jamaica. Buffet food was limited, towels in the room was short, staff was unfriendly, parking area is off property and we had to walk in an area that didn’t look safe, entertainment was poor. I hope they improve upon these things soonest

After a 5 day stay we feel this in one of the best resorts along the 7 mile beach. We understood that it is the slower time and that not all restaurants were available, but we were well fed. The staff were fantastic and friendly. Everyone makes sure your needs are met. Simone gave me the best 80 minute massage of my life. Rushine made us a shaded place everyday and catered to our needs for pale skin under the sun. I was beyond thrilled with everything and the Honeymoon beachfront swim-out is the way to go!!! Can’t wait to go back!
