Kudos to the excellent service level of the staff. Their hospitality makes one feel very welcome and comfortable. It should be noted that the property is integrated into an old Chinese building. The resulting inclined slopes and stairs within the walkway suggest that it may not be so suitable for elderly. Additionally, my room faced a nightlife area and the noise may impact more sensitive guests. Nevertheless, the service level of the staff was enough for me to still consider it an incredible stay.

Great location, good value

I stayed here for a few days for a conference and wanted something central but easy to get around. The hotel is close to Telok Ayer and Raffles Place MRT stations. There are lots of eating and drinking options around - Lau Pa Sat food court is only a couple of blocks away. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is served in a cafe behind the hotel, that offers several good options. The decor is a mix of traditional and modern. Room was small but well laid out, modern and clean.

場所はラッフルズプレイスの近くで、建物自体は古い建物を現代風にリノベーションしたような感じ。高層ビルの合間に入口がお寺のようになっていてはじめここが入り口とわからなかった。チェックインはとてもスムーズで、レセプションの方は部屋まで案内してくださりとても親切でした。部屋は綺麗で、広くはないですが荷物を広げるスペースはあり、1人には十分。朝食は近くのレストランでとる形で、とてもおいしかったです。建物中に段差がありバリアフリーは全く考えられていないので、ご老人には不向きかも。あと三階に泊まりましたがシャワーの圧力がものすごく弱かったのが残念でした。

Too many steps.

Aquí tienes una versión clara y natural en inglés: There are many steps along the hallway to reach the room, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re traveling with a 25 kg suitcase and a carry-on. The staff is extremely friendly and helped me, but it was not pleasant to carry my luggage over the huge step at the entrance where the taxi is allowed to stop. l The room has poor lighting and a small window that faces a nearby wall, which creates a claustrophobic feeling.

It's a renovated building so the hallways have a very low ceiling, the floors are uneven even inside the room where you have a set of stairs to get to your tiny bathroom. It feels claustrophobic with windows in my unit facing an interior dead space with no fresh air. It's not designed as a hotel from the ground up so it's quite uncomfortable and has poor design. It seems overpriced as well. The breakfast is at a nearby restaurant that is unprepared to handle guests. I got a tea without sugar and eggs without salt and there is no way to get these basics without requesting them from a man that has 10 other customers to begin helping....

厦門の文化的な施設を改装した、昔と現代のコラボレーションによるホテルです。ちょっとした歴史館に泊まれるような感覚が味わえます。 施設自体は新しく、ベッド等も清潔で洗面台の水も安心です。 一方で、私の泊まった部屋はトイレとシャワールームが分かれているのにドアが引き戸でどちらか一方が閉まる構造になっているので、必ずどちらかはドアを開放しなくてはなりませんでした。特に日本人にとっては少し苦手だと思うので、日本人はサニタリールームが完全に分かれている部屋があるか予約時に確認した方が良いと思います。 目の前にMRTの駅もあるし、歩けばLau pa satにもマーライオンにも、ビジネス街にも近いので、穴場だと思います。 そうそう、Offbeat で食べる朝食も美味しいし店員さんも優しくて気分よく過ごせました。 次は違う部屋も楽しみに利用したいと思います。
