Booked for three nights. Check-in was efficient, reception staff were on the whole friendly. The bar area downstairs never looked open and we didn't see anyone use the public lounge area. The rooms are very old fashioned and the balcony, which was on the side of the building was tiny!
The main issue whilst we were there was the power sockets. None of our adapters, which have worked all over Europe would fit the sockets. Only an EU charging lead would plug in. However, having left my phone on charge over night it had only gained 24% , meaning the power supply to the room was very low. This proved to be a huge issue. We couldn't use any of our charging devices or any of our electrical items.
This however wasn't the only issue with the room. After the first night, both my husband and I were aware of a number of bites on our skin, which appeared to be getting worse as the days went on. It's not unusual for my husband to get bitten by insects whilst abroad but usually I don't! We are now home and are both covered in bites, which have been confirmed as bed bug bites! The bed had a cover over it which didn't look too clean so we removed it. But presumably the bugs are in the mattress! For this reason I would not recommend or stay there again!
