The problem that I had with the staff was that they didn't honor my seven night booking. Instead, they unknowingly gave me a reservation for six nights and then came knocking on our door to kick us out a day early. Mind you I got no notification of this change and then they refused to honor the price of the room for that seventh night as stated in the booking. The woman at reception, either the manager or owner, not sure, who refused to give me her name said that the prices changed daily and wanted to charge me considerably more than the original rate. Worst of all, instead of hearing me out she had a whip-smart answer for everything I said as I pled my case and kept speaking over me. Then she told me that I was lucky that she didn't charge me for the 7th day at the heightened price because we weren't out by check-out time and were taking so long in getting out. We had to go to the bank to check what had been charged and I started getting irritated with her attitude and reasoning. Self-satisfied with having made me irate she threw me a Cheshire smile at me at which point I told her I was reporting her to the DCBA and the BBB to make sure she doesn't pull a stunt like this on anyone else. What a bunch of con artists!
