Was hoping the kids could use the outdoor pool during our stay, but it was not in use while we were there. Went to the community pool which utilizes water from the local creek. Pool was large, cheap and clean through. Room was large with the 3 queen beds and a couch. Also had a kitchenette which we utilized for breakfast on our 2nd day due to the motel not having breakfast.

Unser Zimmer war schmutzig, nicht gefegt und die Badewanne war dreckig. Der gebrauchte Waschlappen von einem früheren Kunden klebte noch vertrocknet in der Wannenecke. Ob das Bett wirklich komplett frisch bezogen war, ist nicht eindeutig zu sagen. Haare im Kopfkissen haben wir nicht gesehen, das Laken hatte aber Flecken. Unser Fazit: Nicht empfehlenswert.

The room was nice, quiet, and pet friendly. The innkeeper was very helpful and pointed us to the closest store to pick up some things we forgot to pack. The location was great as well. It was easy to get to food (great restaurants) and was halfway to Yellowstone. We will stay here on our way back.

Really wonderful, clean place. I love this company and I try and stay with them whenever I am traveling up in this area! Two of my favorite places are The Historic Virginian Hotel and Teton Peaks Resort in Tetonia Idaho! Check them out! All pet friendly!

They were kind, however, upon my evening arrival they did not have any rooms clean. I offered to come back 15 min later in hopes to provide enough time for them to get the “only room” they had to offer prepared for my reservation. It was not ideal but I was definitely tired and needed the place to sleep. When I returned they had done the best they could but the linens, though changed, were stained and worn and there was hair in the bathroom. The soap dispensers were clogged and not functioning. I was so exhausted I pulled back the covers on the bed and slept there anyway. It’s a Motor Inn not a Hilton. My experience was not good. It doesn’t mean that’s the case always and I’m sure they try.

I had a great stay in Buffalo! You can tell they’re investing in the property.. it’s freshly painted, the bedding felt new, and everything was clean and comfortable. The pool was open, and the water slides were so much fun! The innkeeper was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making check-in and our stay easy. The property offered great value for the price, and I appreciated seeing the updates being made. I’d definitely stay here again when visiting Buffalo.

We wound up not staying after checking in because the room had not been cleaned properly. There was food left in the refrigerator, a dirty towel on the back of the bathroom door, a dirty toilet, hair on the bathroom floor and in the tub, and the outdoor pool water was reddish brown.

It was not our first stay but will be our last. Ownership changed. I had to clean counters, tub, table, etc to be able use it. Fridge was not working properly. Price was fine for the space.

During my recent stay, it was evident that the property has undergone a change in ownership, and unfortunately the transition appears to be impacting the guest experience. Check‑in took over 20 minutes, and there was no staff present at the front desk. A handwritten note instructed guests to call for assistance, but after three unanswered calls, someone eventually emerged from a back room to help. The employee who checked us in seemed unfamiliar with basic procedures, which added to the delay. Upon entering the room, it was clear that housekeeping standards were not being met. The floors looked as though they had not been cleaned in quite some time, and the bathroom showed signs of inadequate maintenance. The mini‑fridge still contained drinks from a previous guest. While the beds themselves were clean, the overall condition of the room suggested a lack of attention to detail. Guests should also be aware that there are no amenities provided, no shampoo, conditioner, soap, or coffee, so plan to bring your own. The property currently operates more like a budget roadside motel than a traditional hotel. The new owners appear to be young and still learning the demands of hospitality. However, informing guests that staff are unavailable between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. because they “need sleep” is not consistent with industry standards. Hotels require 24‑hour availability to ensure guest safety and service. With improved training, consistent staffing, and a stronger commitment to clean
